An "age of science" is thus an age of authoritarianism. Not necessarily of peace and plenty, but of self-assured lab coats pressing expensive panaceas, and government lab rats using violence to back them. Quack medicines and programs will be pushed and swallowed. The media and social media will shut out the opposition — the group from which all scientific progress comes. Smug women too stupid and hysterical for critical thinking will shout down dissenting researchers and doctors. Those who stand with the opposition lose their jobs when public policy or public "safety" is at stake. Will science prevail in an atmosphere like this? Yes — the science of controlling the masses, and of keeping the scientifically minded quiet. We're in the beginning stages of scientific and social tyranny.
It has been obvious for a long time now that “the science” is nothing but a political instrument used to validate authoritarian action - for our health and safety. But as Jeremy Egerer points out in his article cited above, it’s not any science, but only the scientists who are articulating the most politically useful message.
What is really disturbing is the average Mr Public accepting the pill and the program without any discernible analysis or questioning. Even in the face of obvious contradictions.
Smith: “Did you see that vaccine damage report I sent you?”
Public: “Oh… not really, but you know the health department says the vaccines are safe and effective.”
Smith: “But the report, it’s a government report and it’s showing….”
Public: “…You know Smith, sorry but it’s people like you that are stopping us all from getting back to normal. Take the damn vaccine! You’re not the expert and the government knows what they are doing. Trust the science.”
Now I understand the majority of people would not sift through PubMed and actually read the research for themselves, or follow up authors on Research Gate to get a little more depth as to what they are finding. And understandably so. For most these research papers may as well be written in a foreign language and who really understands the statistics?
But when people are presented with evidence (translated from science speak into English) that contradicts the political narrative, by prominent doctors and researchers, there is an amazing dull response of unbelief. Why is that? Are they stupid?
I have to confess that I’ve used the word stupid more times in the last 18 or so months than I probably have my entire life. “Can you believe this? That’s so stupid!” - often reduced in a text message to just “Stupid.” Every new move by the authorities seems stupid. Their reasons for doing so seem just as stupid. And when considering the masses going along with the stupidity, I wonder about their level of stupidity (I’m assuming stupidity is a spectrum and not a binary state - although one does wonder when you see a sudden flip into stupidity).
I don’t want this to be long as there’s a lot of stupid stuff I need to look into today. But I did want to share this video for all of you who have tried to share studies and the opinions of those scientists and medical professionals (who have had years of clinical experience) that contradict what government officials (with no clinical experience) are saying. Because if you are like me you will have had the frustrating experience of talking to a brick wall that you had mistaken for a thinking person.
