It's always funny to read the Grandiose Fairy Tales that the current degenerate uman animal Brain/Thought comes up with just so that it can exist in an illusion that generates a feeling of "safety" & "security"!
It's funny that the theory of evolution makes us "believe" - today the majority of the population - that its logic is that evolution will only continue, by our hand, that is, "we" evolve ourselves, by design or planning .
Giving way to "intelligent design" as a function of the action of evolution itself. After all, evolution itself begins to be dictated by design as a process of natural selection.
To maintain the "truth" of "evolution by natural selection", we therefore have to "believe" that we do this without any conscious will, as we are dictated and determined to make ourselves evolve by the "will" of the natural selection of evolution.
Evolution that makes itself evolve by intelligent design...only now after the wild beginning.
The confusion of contradictions is such that people only have the "faith" that everything is naturally evolution, determined by the technologies of natural selection.
This is why people are obsessive lovers of technologies, such as ontological truth.
The widespread blind acceptance of premises that are completely ridiculous has always bothered me. This essay really lays out many of the reasons for that in an approachable way. Fantastic piece.
