Thank you for writing about Straussians. This is new to me but really makes so much sense. #ChristisKing

"...but never the core underlying factors; that the liberal experiment has failed."

Thank you. The idea of liberal democracy as the end of history social order is the intellectual contagion of their death cult of progress.

This keeps Heritage Americans in a trance, worshipping the golden calf of liberalism and its mystical origins even as the most agnostic utilitarians must increasingly contort the narrative around the mounting empirical evidence that it is failing spectacularly.

Hence the need to control not just the messaging but the very essence and meaning of our language.

It is no accident much of this war on the Truth can be traced back into some very sketchy translations of Scripture as part of a long retconning of Western Canon. And I argue, as part of the inversion, a spiritual war that asserts itself into the moral foundation until we are no longer capable of defining "who we are". Just who we are not. "Thats not who we are", thanks Obama.

The scourge of the hyphen is everywhere now. It is fitting that the end-point of the West, the tip of the spear of the progressive experiment running on the fumes of its conjured alternate reality, is now a labyrinth of forbidden language, constantly emerging dissident shorthand, and legions of gatekeepers who police our language all the way into pre-thoughts as they insert the hyphen into every aspect of American identity.

Judeo-Christianity, a favorite of these "conservatives", being a perfect example. But of course, there are now too many to list. And yet there is only one King. They know it. And it torments them.

There is a definite whiff of sulfur about this eruption against foundational Christian beliefs.

Now I’m no advocate of dominion theology, in fact I’m strongly against it. C.S. Lewis’ warning against “officious moral busybodies” perfectly sums up my views on that. Yet it is in individual beliefs of a populace in the truth that God Is, and that He desires a relationship through Christ, His anointed, with those whom He created, which has always underpinned what we call western civilization.

God says very clearly that Christ is King.

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

At its deepest level, the insanity of the world down through the ages has always been a spiritual battle between good and evil. As someone who was raised as a Jew but came to Christ as a young adult (my sister and I were adopted) I know firsthand how even non-devout Jews are often hard-wired to be strongly against the goyim, as my family labeled them. I love my adopted heritsge and the people of Israel, but they have no moral high ground in what is happening now. Neither do Hamas or any other group who knowingly or unknowingly are aligned with the banking cabal’s wars and end goal.

Mankind’s greatest adversary, the same one whose first recorded utterance was “Has God said?” Is up to his old tricks yet again. Reject the obvious attempt to divide us, but stand strong in what is true.

God be with us all.

The jews do not realise, or forgot, that nearly all the deep crap defecated on this earth starts with groups of people, that think they're something god damn special. They think it too, and they're not special at all. Neither are us christians, but we mostly do posses some tolerance for other religions and don't think we're the dogs bollocks.

In fact this whole Straussian thing comes across as very Marxist / communist / socialist to me, no matter what they proclaim (e.g. there is no God, there are no borders, and everybody is equal (although some more equal then others)). In fact if you do a half decent reconnoiter of the years 1915 and 1917 in Russia, you'll know exactly what I mean. Striking similarities, and our foreland if we're not vigilant.

Klavan departs from orthodoxy on a host of issues. He shouldnt really be taken so seriously.

Dear Winston, you should correlate your excellent post on Lobaczewski with your studies of Straussians, for they are but the same individuals that Lobaczewski has warned us about. The banners they carry do not matter in the slightest - whether it's a hammer and sickle, or "free market", it's just to fool the "masses" - which Straussians, by the way, openly admit. Of course they cannot possibly tolertate Christ is King any more than their "red" counterparts, because, quite seriously, in their heads THEY are kings, and they never tolerate any other.

Setting aside the absurdity of calling this antisemitism, it’s just a really bizarre business move from Daily Wire/Shapiro. Who do they think is filling their coffers? Why would you unnecessarily make it a point to try to undermine the faith of the vast majority of your audience? And to do so by disingenuously suggesting they are somehow racists for professing their faith… really strange behavior on all fronts.

You could of course always hitch your wagon to the cult founded by the religiously and culturally nihilistic barbarian cult as advertised here:

Not into all the religion but I definitely feel this is a spiritual war between good and evil and so if good is being on the side of God then will goodness prevail? The amount of evil spreading like a contagion is very scary, so I sincerely hope that goodness will win out in the end but how far into the murky depths of depravity do we have to sink and into this death spiral before things begin to feel like we are turning them around ?
