Delivering the truth
Letters from Mr Charrington #8
Dear Winston,
Quite by accident my dear fellow, I happened to glance at the journal which you recently purchased from my shop and noticed what seemed to be some doubt regarding the truth Big Brother expresses through the Ministry of Truth1. I believe that our growing friendship demands that I provide you with a few examples that I recall to illustrate just how mistaken such an idea is in the light of the facts.
June 1987: Big Brother Bob (Hawke) promised the people of Australia that; “By 1990, no Australian child will be living in poverty."
August 2010: Big Sister Julia (Gillard) promised that there would be no carbon tax.
February 2021: Biggish Brother Greg (Hunt) promised that no-one would die from AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine as it offered 100% protection against death in the primary analysis of Phase 3 trials.
August 2021: Big Brother Scott (Morrison) reporting to the people of Australia following the meeting of the ‘National Cabinet’ (which is made up of all State and Territory Big Brothers and Big Sisters2) promised (on behalf of that group) that “We do NOT have a mandatory vaccination policy in this country. We DO NOT have that; we are NOT proposing to have that; that is NOT changing”
Let me now briefly consider each case with you:
Big Brother Bob was without question correct as our own Ministry of Love confirmed with me that -
“Living in poverty in a country such as Australia, is not really living.”
Big Sister Julia did not introduce a carbon tax; it was a carbon pricing regime which she famously described as "A win for Australia's children!"
Biggish Brother Greg was surely referencing the vaccinated group in the trial. It was in the placebo group that the death occurred. Perhaps you may wonder what that means. Well, if you have one less death out of a total of one, then that is a relative reduction of 100%. If however, you are interested in the absolute reduction, well that was 0.01%. Similarly, not ONE person has died from the AZ vaccine (although it does appear that it may be approaching several hundreds of people at the present time3).
Big Brother Scott and his National Cabinet have confirmed that they won’t create special laws to mandate vaccination. But, he has advised that employers can use existing workplace laws to order employees to get the jab4. BB Scott has also said “You see, in our country, everyone has choices and they have choices that are supported by the rule of law, and I am simply making the point that those choices have to be exercised and are consistent with the rule of law.” I do hope it is clear to you now Winston that it is Businesses who are mandating vaccination because this is a country of choices and business are exercising those choices - it’s all about freedom you know.
Similarly, none of the State or territory leaders are mandating vaccination - that would be tyrannical; they just responsibly insist that people who are not vaccinated are to be treated similarly those unfortunates who contracted leprosy in times past. They will simply have to live apart from the rest of society, because that’s the choice they have made; there is no doubt that the Big Brothers and Big sisters (who love us deeply) will provide appropriate conditions to protect the rest of the country from extreme danger - like the necessity for the unvaccinated to wear bells, a mask, avoid social engagement, and to call out in a loud voice “Un-Vaxxed, Un-Vaxxed” whenever someone approaches within 1.5 metres.

‘National Cabinet’ is made up of the Prime Minister – Scott Morrison, and all State and Territory premiers and chief ministers, currently: Annastacia Palaszczuk - Qld, Daniel Andrews - Vic, Dominic Perrottet - N.S.W., Mark McGowan – W.A., Peter Gutwein - Tas, Steven Marshall – S.A., Andrew Barr – A.C.T., Michael Gunner - N.T.
It is possible that those dying from the vaccines are just doing it to spread misinformation, or worse, disinformation, and are therefore enemies of the state - there’s no end to the length these people will go to smear the good name of Big Brother! Just a warning to anyone thinking of dying from one of these new experimental drugs - there may be severe consequences for you if you are found out (although I don’t believe the TGA is looking into the deaths just yet).
After all, employers have free choice in this freedom loving democracy.
