As most would know by now Candace Owens was fired by the Daily Wire - not surprising but disturbing, nevertheless. The reason? Questioning the narrative. So much for the platform dedicated to free speech. I must write a brief letter to address this as it is important, marking perhaps a crucial moment which will define the coming year politically.
Within context, Owens has done what few thought she would (or could); over the past few months she first voiced her disdain for the Ukraine War (which is endorsed by Neocons and the Straussian right more broadly), then began to question Shapiro’s loyalty to America. This caused outrage, as Owens noted that Shapiro was more concerned over Israel than America, and that she, in contrast, was ‘America first’ and before all else. In an incredible series of events, her statements of American loyalty, above all else (which mainstream conservatives claim to hold also), came under harsh criticism from conservative and liberal political commentators alike. Her comments were smeared as ‘antisemitic’, hateful, conspiratorial, and so forth. In fact, media outlets from across the political spectrum began to run hit pieces against her in a frenzied reaction. Now for context, mainstream conservative commentators claim that this happens to them also, but not like this, and certainly not to the extent that Owens was targeted.
This culminated in a series of confrontations which have played out over the past few weeks. Upon returning from leave, Owens was attacked by Rabbi Shmuley - the self-proclaimed ‘most famous rabbi in America’ - who took serious issues with her wavering view on Israel, AIPAC, and other lobbyist groups. After striking back, she then hosted a podcast with a Rabbi Barclay last week. This interview was surely what got her fired. In her discussion with Barclay - who outrightly calls for her to ‘apologise’ for ‘antisemitism’ on camera - Owens questioned the rabbi about foreign interference in America, including lobbying groups, organised interests groups in the media who had been attacking her, and in politics more broadly. She even confronted Barclay on the insinuation that Jews are racially superior to gentiles. The podcast rounded out with Owens explicitly asking about Jewish control of Hollywood. Although she dominated the discussion, it was clear to me that as soon as she discussed the latter two topics, it was over for her.
It appears this pattern of calling out obvious inconsistencies in the narrative is gaining momentum, and this is happening on both the left and right. Last week Ana Kasparian of the Young Turks went on an unexpected rant about the AIPAC lobby, and its power within America. Kasparian - an ethnic Armenian who ironically works for a group named after the faction responsible for the Armenian genocide - must be noticing too much. For this, she received support from viewers, but criticism from the overlords. On the right, Alex Jones has also begun criticising such things as foreign interference- something he was hesitant to do for the past few years. It seems as though everywhere we turn; people are beginning to question what they have been told to believe. This feels remarkably like 2020, when many, otherwise unaware, people begin to wake up to some deeper truth. And, excitedly, it seems inevitable that this will expand.
As soon as discord formed between Shapiro and Owens, and especially when friction began to occur between Owens and the ADL (which Straussian conservatives now support), it was obvious that she was going to be fired from the Daily Wire – you could see it a mile away. It is obvious that those who have a following and questioning foreign interference, dual loyalties, and the other topics as Owens has, is a step too far. The Straussians run the mainstream conservative movement in America. Traditional conservatism - which Owens is slowly but steadily discovering - is strictly off limits. One cannot explore nationalism, cultural unity, religious values, and unified morals, and especially not anything to do with truly putting America first without being mocked and cast to the side. The Straussian conservatives allow no such discussion. For them, one can talk about freedom of speech and capitalism, but never about topics which would truly unify and strengthen America.
Now a final note is that Candace Owens - as with Tucker, Jones, and all other such influencers - must be evaluated with some care. One must always consider the possibility of malicious intent, and if it is later revealed that Owens was a plant, this come as a shock, but that seems to be the nature of the current age. Yet regardless of whether Owens is ‘legit’ does not obfuscate the core issue; she has touched on topics rarely discussed in the mainstream (just as Ramaswamy had done during his campaign run), as well as opening up mass criticism of the Daily Wire organisation, and in this way, she has benefitted the populists.
So, what of all this? This may all sound like mere political drama, but it isn’t. Owen’s firing was a serious mistake for the Daily Wire, already generating a lot of outrage. In fact, it almost seems like an accelerationist move. Owens has the support of the populist right, and that is what matters. Her lack of fear in seeking the truth has cost her a well-paid position, but for that she has single-handedly shifted the Overton window with just a few tweets and an interview. A new awakening is inevitable. Things are in motion, the ball is rolling, and it cannot be stopped - It can only be redirected away from its original course through deception, which is what I believe the plan of subversion will be in the coming months. More people are waking up to the full scale of the attack on the west, and so long as they stay locked in on the truth, they will avoid deceptions, and may yet save western civilisation.
I will follow this up with a longer letter addressing these ‘Straussian Conservatives’ soon.
Sincerely yours,
O’Brien

Wow, I'd not watched the interview with Owens and Rabbi Barclay until now after posting O'Brien's latest. Well worth watching (as long as it is). My respect for Barclay's position continued to erode the more he talked.

What exactly is meant by "This feels remarkably like 2020, when many, otherwise unaware, people begin to wake up to some deeper truth". The George Floyd sanctification 'mostly peaceful ' rioting plus opportunistic looting, raping and murdering.... plus Western MSM performative knee-taking....all that seems to me like the time when 'The Narrative ' got it's biggest boost in 50 years! Depends which 'narrative' you had in mind of course.
