The Daily Wire has never been about free speech, and most definitely not about being unprejudiced. I stopped following Jordan Peterson when he was recruited in that jewish shill operation, and my decision was confirmed and sealed when he interviewed Netanyahu. Their narrative does not come apart. It has never been stronger.

No other people on this globe have appropriated a special term for disaproval against them, but the jews. In this day and age we see the true nature of the modern jewish people come to light. They have no qualms starving and shooting civilians when it suits their agenda. Why Shapiro himself advocates similar tactics in another sovereign state, the Lebanon.

Getting fired from the Daily Wire might be the best thing that happened in Candace Owens' carreer.

They are about freedom of speech. As a private company, they have no constitutional obligation to continue working with anyone they don't want to. Farmer (her real last name) has said herself 'Ben doesn't have the power to fire me' on the breakfast club. She also tweeted as this article clearly states 'I'm finally free.' Sounds pretty mutual to me.

What exactly is meant by "This feels remarkably like 2020, when many, otherwise unaware, people begin to wake up to some deeper truth". The George Floyd sanctification 'mostly peaceful ' rioting plus opportunistic looting, raping and murdering.... plus Western MSM performative knee-taking....all that seems to me like the time when 'The Narrative ' got it's biggest boost in 50 years! Depends which 'narrative' you had in mind of course.

I think that's what O'Brien - that George Floyd/BLM narrative that was pushed so hard did wake up a lot of people to what's really going on. At least that's what happened in my circle - it may have got it's biggest boost in 50 years, as you say, but it was the catalyst for awakening many (in a positive way).

Anyone with conservative instincts who hadn't noticed till 2020 that the MSM narrative was overwhelmingly one of the 'social justice' religion's race and gender victimhood cults....must have not been paying attention.

Thanks....there's clearly things about Substack that are a mystery to me. When I click on your profile it shows you as subscribing to 84 Substacks.

I don't have the app. I read through e-mail, so I can only answer people through the comments in articles. I'm a free subscriber, so, again, I don't need the app. The great majority of stacks I "subscribe" to I may only get to read once every 4 to 6 months, if/when they publish a free article. I'm old and on a very limited budget.

I too don't have the app and just use email. My Substack is currently a free one and you'd be most welcome if you decided to subscribe. I post one essay per month. And by the way I am an old'un myself...73 to be precise.

I subscribed. FYI, I can be cranky sometimes. 😉

Israel can pretty much take care of itself, militarily, in fact, it's an arms manufacturer and makes everything from Uzis to nukes - of which it has a bunch, enough to blow most of the countries nearby off the map, and still have spares left. It really doesn't need any US aid. And they have the right to defend themselves and their land. October 7th was the seventh time Hamas pulled that kind of stunt, this time they shot a lot more missiles and killed a lot of people. The first time was in 2006, and then every three years thereafter. Hamas would fire missiles and wreck houses and kill people, Israel would shoot back, Hamas would run to the UN and eventually get the Israelis to cease fire, at which point UNRWA would go and supply millions of dollars to re-arm and re-supply Hamas. Never in the 18 years since 2005 did Hamas make a move to establish its own water plant or electrical generation or sewage treatment or anything like that, it all went to weaponry to shoot at the Jews. Personally, I would have done what Israel is doing now, back in 2006. There's no reason for any country to put up with that crap, if the Mexican cartels had fired 30 rockets at El Paso, 30 rockets at San Antonio, and 40 rockets at San Diego, the cartels would have been bombed into the ground and the survivors hunted down with dogs - the Israeli response is entirely legit, and within their rights, and duty to protect their citizens from harm. I don't listen to The Wire or mainstream media, could give a shit about the "narrative", and I'm not Jewish, either.

I don't think there's any argument that Israel shouldn't defend herself and that she should wipe out Hamas. But the point is that it's sad that there's innocent death on both sides. Owens was being demonised for daring to feel sad for the children dying in Gaza, while also feeling for the children of Israel. Seemingly, for the Rabbi in question, that's antisemetic.

I've run into rabbis - and Jews - like that, and they're just bigotted jerks, not worth the trouble of knowing - and I've heard them call Jewish friends of mine "bad Jews" and "self-hating Jews" when it was they who were full of hate. I'm sure some Israelis are like that. What do you make of Hamas, who use "human shield" tactics, putting their Ops HQs and artillery positions near schools and hospitals, where it's nearly impossible to avoid taking innocent lives - which is the point of the exercise? And then Hamas go after people they know are unarmed and vulnerable, like the people at that rave - the Hamas types who do that are the worst sort of cowards...

Wow, I'd not watched the interview with Owens and Rabbi Barclay until now after posting O'Brien's latest. Well worth watching (as long as it is). My respect for Barclay's position continued to erode the more he talked.

Here's a comment from that interview - exactly what I was thinking as well (not to diminish what happened on Oct 7, but...)

What happened on Oct 7 is the worst thing ever? Worse than the Rwanda genocide? Worse than the Holocaust? Worse than the Holodomor? Worse than the Japanese butchery and raping at Nanking? Worse than the Killing Fields? Worse than decades of massacres in the Congo? I could go on with many, many such things in just the last 100 years.

In the grand scheme, I don't think it was even in the top 50 worst Jewish tragedies in our recorded history and probably not in the top 1000 massacres in recorded human history. It was horrible and the people committing it should be condemned, but making it to be the worst tragedy in human history shows abject ignorance or intentional deceit.

Very reminiscent to Jan 6 being equated with the likes of Pearl Harbour, ww2, 911….

I also very much identify with Candace Owens likening criticizing the blm movement and being shut down by being called a racist to now being shut down criticizing Israel’s horrific genocide of the Palestinians by being called an antisemite. Identical repeat same mechanism different name.

And I had heard that the show she did about Mr. and Mr. Macron was what sealed her fate, or helped to do so. In that show, she highlighted a 3-year investigation that "proved" that the lady Macron was, in fact, also a Mr. Macron and that TPTB "installed" the Macrons in France so they could be thoroughly controlled, given that TPTB were holding the truth over their heads. If there is a hot-button issue sensitive to those behind the curtain, sure to get you fired, this might well be one.

Oddly enough, I learned about Owens's broadcast on this topic from another Substack account, that has disappeared. Not only has that account disappeared, it happened to disappear pretty much as I was watching and commenting on Owens's broadcast. That abrupt disappearance, coming just before Owens was fired, let me to believe it was that particular broadcast that may have been the 3d rail that must mot be touched at the risk of one's career., or worse. Perhaps it's just coincidence, but after what we've been experiencing since the end of WWII, I no longer believe in coincidences.

"More people are waking up to the full scale of the attack on the west, and so long as they stay locked in on the truth, they will avoid deceptions, and may yet save western civilisation."

A new notion about what "saving western civilisation" might look like came into my head when I read that line.

If we are completely honest with ourselves, we are up against pretty steep odds:

1) Massive numbers of vaxxed people could start succumbing to the poison over the next couple of years, resulting in incapacitating injuries and/or death. And correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the highest vax rates are generally in the wealthiest countries, such as those in the West;

2) Huge numbers of (I suspect largely unvaccinated) Third Worlders are simultaneously flooding into Western countries.

This phenomenon is often called The Great Replacement, and it could end very badly and very violently. Or not. Or... maybe we will see lots of violence followed by a calmer, better world. Here's how this could play out:

We could see a huge die-off in the next couple of years, and there could be lots of chaos and confusion. In this case, the Powers that put us on this course will try to steer the civilisational ship their way, but I suspect they are losing their grip on the game. They are too arrogant to even realize they are losing it; they could just start flipping out more and more. "Pride goeth before a fall."

For those of us who survive the tumult, here's what could come next:

Our Nations as we know them will fall apart. That will be extremely difficult at first, but ultimately it will mean that we get rid of our corrupt governments, who do nothing except tax us on everything (our labour, carbon, rain water... you name it, they tax it) and then "re-distribute" the wealth. This wealth re-distribution is not so much about helping out the "proletariat" as using the *idea* of a "proletariat" (whoever that happens to be at a given time, they keep changing the characters) to screw all of us and ultimately re-direct wealth and power to themselves. (Doesn't matter if you're living in a "communist" system or a "capitalist" system anymore - it's just the same shit, meted out by the same masters.)

But once the governments are out of the way, we can start to pick up the pieces.

What I think could happen next is that the surviving people of European descent - white westerners - will start re-building a new civilisation. Other people of other races who are capable will do the same. But European-descended people will also fan out, and start living in other areas outside our traditional homelands (to the extent that long-distance travel is possible).

Small communities will get built up in various places that are still habitable by races that are "civilisation builders," particularly by the people who are now defined as Westerners. Peoples who are not as capable of building civilisations will take up residence around those communities, and they will appreciate what living in proximity to more technologically capable people can offer them.

Incidentally, this isn't so different to what used to happen in parts of Canada as it was settled by Europeans - every time white people set up a trading post or any kind of encampment, native peoples would settle around it because doing so afforded them survival advantages (access to more stable food, useful tools like metal cooking pots and guns, woven cloth clothes). It was often the actions of governments and their institutions that led to the historical conflicts we now view as "problematic." (You gotta love it - the governments cause the problems, and then they shift the blame onto We The People.)

I realize this might sound ridiculously utopian, and I could even be accused of being a White Supremacist. But I'm neither a utopian nor a supremacist - I'm just trying to envision a scenario that could work out best for those of us - all of us - who are able to survive the coming calamity.
