I get the distinct impression the people working on this are more impressed by their own creation than by the wonder that is a human being. No doubt they think this artificial creation is superior and can do so much more than we can. That doesn’t bode well.
Kate: I know, sorry. But Johnny-Eloise-May says his dadd... um... I mean their, um... "donor" got killed in a big fight, like, when they was real little. They says their donor knew my donor, and that the two of them was tryin' to dig a hole to get outside the line. He says got killed together over in Graychurch by the S-O-P. Like, shot and stuff. He... I mean, they... they says it's because somebody told on them.
Kate: Mom?
Kate: Mom? Are you okay?
Kate: Mommy why are you crying?
Mom: It's okay, sweetie. I just forgot to take my pills.
Re: the Line, mirror exterior is going to be annoyingly reflective creating hot spots and heat islands - think child with a magnifying glass and ants. And why is the outside world portrayed like a desert, without humans shouldn't nature come to life, isn't that the selling point?

This is nothing new. Read or listen to dramatisation of The Machine Stops by E M Foster, his only scifi piece. Note this was written in 1910, over a century ago !!! (you can find various versions on YT)
Good one Winston and pretty much what the Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is all about, but I think that is your unsaid premise here.
Wow 🤯 mind blowing (and scary)
