It's made me wonder what you make of some commentators and analysts suggesting that the 'vaccination' issue is a sideshow towards the vaccine passport's end which in itself is a milestone which leads to financial, and other controls. The real goal being total control of the human population. Perhaps, we could chat about this at one of the London coffee houses.
Thank you O'Brien once again - I do enjoy your letters. I've always thought there's a bigger agenda than a virus or our health. We've never seen such a coordinated effort of a psychological operation on the people of the planet (with the exception of China, who seem to have their own separate psych op at work on their people). It seems to me that we are being led into a type of surfdom under the tyranny of a technocratic class of rulers, who think we, the common people, are neither smart enough nor rich enough to have a say in how life is lived. In fact, I believe they want most of us to go away, so they can live a good life on the planet without their delusional paranoia that the masses are going to doom humanity through overpopulation. There seems to be elements of Marxism (some very strong currents that have gained momentum throughout the last 100 years) and Fascism - both of which carry the hallmarks of dictatorial power, fierce suppression of opposition, and regimentation or homogenisation of society where the individual no longer exists. I agree we are at a crossroads, or quickly coming up to one, and it will be more than interesting to see in which direction we turn!
It looks like their plan was thwarted by enough of the truth getting out there and their own incompetence. The plan now is probably to deflect, back pedal, and change focus and whatever else it takes to avoid justice. If they are successful at avoiding justice they will regroup with a new plan to further their totalitarian vision.
I had the admittedly cynical thought, that countries will be allowed to lift restrictions when they make their numbers (vaccinated). The real hiccup in the plan was the significant side effects, but they are rapidly developing some new vaccines, completely unnecessary from a public health standpoint, but now critical as the injuries are real and fairly well known and hindering the target numbers.
The scripts of the western democratic leaders are far too similar, and disconnected from reality, their hands are being forced. They were all told something like vaccinate at x%, how they got there was up to them, how draconian etc., but they had a suggested script. All of the other social ramifications and emergent culture is secondary. What semi-cognizant politician would continue to walk into this buzzsaw for so long. In America we are ushering in a generation of Republican rule as the Democrats are now significantly wounded, and they still didn’t make their numbers!
For a moment, I thought the title read Vacuum Power Vaccine. A new jab from Hoover maybe? That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed O'Brien's calm analysis and commentary. I also feel we are at a crossroads. As the self-appointed elite are all in, I doubt there will be any surrender on their part. This is just a pause before the next onslaught, of which we have a number to choose from. As O'Brien noted, climate emergency seems to be the number one choice which I feel will be deliberately induced. Then there's another virus (SARS-CoV-3, smallpox, nipah, marburg have all been mentioned), a siege of blocked supply chains, 5G radiation sickness, World War III in the Ukraine, and... an alien invasion! Did I miss something? Oh yes, the mass casualties from Covid vax which will only get worse as time goes on. But the point is chaos and the need for order, that being the totalitarian Great Reset agenda.
As far as a world leader, there was some murmur of King William but that's more heresay (or heresy).
Some good options there Navyo. How about WWIII in the midst of several 'pandemics' (with a plethora of new drugs to treat and massive casualties of which numbers are distorted because of the war) as some extreme natural disaster hits prompting the most severe restrictions on people world wide (except the regions where the hot war is raging of course) and then, just when we thought it was the end of all things - the aliens come to save us (the brightest of them mistaken by many as the return, or second return of Christ) and appoint Klaus Schwab as Supreme Ruler and Gates as the Chairman of the Ministry of Health and Prosperity.
Thank you Navyo - my problem is discipline and time - in my other life I'm published in a certain area of science, but would love to break out and write for a broader audience. I'll keep chipping away here on Substack as Winston - a bit of a thought lab, if you like - and see where it takes me.

Not to give too much away about myself, but I've got a musical background as well - trained at a music conservatorium in composition, spent time in London back in the day in the 'serious art music' scene. Anyway, that seems like a life away now, but am keen to be creative and expressive again, but in the written word.
Now I'm wondering if we know each other!! I've had a similar background as you (or did you deduce that already?) Studied piano and composition at the Guildhall. Played electric viola in a jazz-rock improv outfit touring the UK festival scene. And yes, I still write. I've self-published two books (paperback & kindle) on my travel adventures in Europe, Italy mostly, under the series Soul Traveler. Now working on a third, although since the end of 2020 I've been mostly writing about exposing the plandemic. So it's not so much discipline and time for me, it's focus and motivation.
I would definitely encourage you to write outside of your normal sphere. I never thought I would end up as a writer, but it's been some of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Go for it! You won't regret it.
Yes I will. Thanks for the encouragement. We don't know each other. What time I had in London was at the Royal Academy but primarily studied in Australia. Although I studied jazz piano and guitar (I wasn't a natural) my true love was in composition. knocked around a couple of years trying to get writing gigs for film or TV - eventually got a "real job" and music became a hobby. Looking forward to writing more now - as you would appreciate, music gives you a great appreciation for form and story - so I count it all as converging into whatever I output.
Indeed, it all converges. There comes a point, I found, when there is even more of a convergence, not just music and writing, but a more universal symphony of creativity. I look forward to whatever your output, Winston.
